Album of the Week - Each week I'll review an album that has caught my ear recently. New albums are always released on Tuesdays, so I'll be posting on Tuesday or Wednesday my pick of the week. After nearly 20 years in the music industry I still haven't figured out why Tuesday is the day for new releases. I'm sure it has something to do with Soundscan, just no idea what.
Song of the Day - Whatever I've heard in the last day or so that catches my attention either for the first time or the 50th. I'll try to keep it to relatively new or overlooked songs.
Friday Shuffle Vs. - Every Friday I'll pick someone to go up against and randomly pick a block of songs they play and pit it against my "shuffle". I have to post whatever comes up in the order in comes up on my list and there is a lot of embarrassing music in my collection, so it's not a sure victory for me. The only thing I'll skip past is something that isn't music, like a hidden track from an album that's just dead air.
Parent Tip - Every once in a while I'll give out a tip on how to find new music, whether it's a blog, podcast, online radio station, magazine, tv show, sat radio station, website...
Kid Distraction - There is some pretty creative, funny, good kids music related stuff out there, when I come across it I'll post it
