Friday Shuffle vs. 103.5 KISS FM (WKSC)

I would be willing to bet that Chicago's 103.5 Kiss FM is the station your kids listen to the most often.  So let's see what they play in a random hour against what my shuffle randomly plays this morning.
Do you ever think that Itunes somehow can pick up on your mood and play just the right songs? Let's hope that today it picks up on my "ok, looks like it's going to be a great weekend, Sox game tonight, long bike ride early saturday morning, Westfest tomorrow early afternoon, maybe a trip to Big Star Saturday late afternoon (check out their shuffle here) for some amazing tacos and great beer, Old Town School Roots Fest Sunday, great weather all weekend" kind of mood.  Not sure what kind of music that encompasses but we'll see if Itunes can pick up on it...

This is KISS from yesterday afternoon:
btw- the C,R,G on the right stands for Current (new song), Recurrent (fairly new song) and Gold (old song)

And my shuffle 10am Friday morning...
Los Campesinos! - "Tiny Desk Concert" from NPR (yes! great start, i just downloaded this recently, i love this band, super energetic and quirky, it's them playing stripped down in someone's small office at NPR)  get it or watch it HERE , if your kids know what coital means you might want to keep them away
Sigur Ros -"Svefn-g-englar" (not bad, this captures the "eating oatmeal while the sun is rising before the saturday morning bike ride" mood)
The Maccabees - "All In Your Rows" (upbeat, this works anytime)
Band of Horses - "The General Specific" (eating tacos at Big Star, great song, good job so far Itunes, keep it up :)
Verbow - "Closer to Free" (chicago band that was popular about 10-15 years ago, still sounds pretty good)
The Connells - "One Simple Word" (I really like these guys for about 6 months and then just kind of forgot about them, i have to say this is the first shuffle misstep today...not horrible, just not great)
Pullman - "Delta One" (I think this is my wife's CD, don't know it really, it's on Chicago label Thrill Jockey, kind of a Tortoise/Sigur Ros vibe going on)
Chicago - "Love Me Tomorrow" (um...right)
Shane MacGowen and the Popes - "Donegal Express" (that's more like it!)
The Cribs - "Martell" (playing Lolla this summer, good song)
Belle and Sebastian - "The Model" (they fit every mood)
Shout Out Louds - "But Then Again No" (nice job shuffle, love these guys)
ok, i'm going to end it there and listen to the rest of the album, Howl Howl Gaff Gaff
